Martin Herrera, LMT, CMLDT
Martin started out his work in the field of personal training, focusing on supporting the client with specific exercises and modalities. His extensive background in martial arts provided a depth of insight into body mechanics and it was his curiosity to explore all elements of healing that led him to enroll in New Mexico Academy of Healing Arts. The teachers there displayed a passion that inspired Martin and continues to inspire him today. This led him to pursue additional training from the Ankrum Institute in Tulsa, the Barral Institute and The Klose Academy, from which he holds a certification in Manual Lymphatic Drainage.
The Ankrum Institute was particularly foundational to Martin’s work as the curriculum combines influences from such varied methodologies as Rolfing, Biodynamic Cranial Therapy and Osteopathy. With over 1150 classroom hours, Martin has made professional development a top priority so that he can be better able to serve his clients.
